Eye Examinations

When you come and see us, we make sure that an eye test is fun, informative and comprehensive. When we look in your eyes we’re looking for all manner of diseases and disorders, such as cataract, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetes, and high blood pressure-related damage. We also make sure that any glasses or contact lenses you need will work for you first time every time. We specialise in getting glasses or contact lenses to do what you want them to do, as opposed to you having to work around them.

Frame Fitting/Adjustments

A frame is only as good as its fit on you. A millimeter here or there can make all the difference. Be it comfort, vision, or how the frame looks on you, we can help make your frame fit as perfectly as possible. Please feel free to come to our store to have your glasses adjusted to fit your face well, even if you haven’t bought the frame form us.

Contact Lens Fitting

We can get any contact lenses in, at competitive prices. We are experts in supplying and fitting extended wear contact lenses, which most people can wear and leave in overnight, for up to 30 continuous days. This is especially useful for young teenagers, as the lenses are now safe enough for younger eyes. Of course we will need to check each indivdual before making a recommendation, as no two people are the same, or have the same exact needs. Of course we also supply coloured contact lenses, daily wear and individually crafted custom contact lenses.

Visual Fields Testing

We have a computerised visual field testing machine at our Montmorency store. This enables us to carefully monitor any visual field changes in our patients. This is especially important when monitoring and detecting change because of glaucoma.

Prescription Safety Glasses

We specialise in our prescription safety glasses. Fully Australian Standards compliant (are your safety glasses AS compliant? – ask us if you’re not sure), with a wide range of fashionable, practical and, most importantly comfortable safety glasses. The best thing we can say about them is what our customers have said “They look too good to be safety glasses”!

We’re proud of our Veterans’ efforts of serving and protecting our country. We acknowledge their service and sacrifice, and love to offer them a great range to choose from, with little or no out-of-pocket costs. Just because you’re getting “Veterans Affairs” glasses doesn’t mean they’re cheap or nasty. We offer a complete range of quality frames and lenses.
